Confident All Year

// Establishing Your Confidence For 2021

Every day we should be growing in confidence. Developing and nurturing confidence, building ourselves up for the next blessing. Sometimes opportunities come knocking on our door, but our lack of confidence may cause us to leave the door unanswered.

I don't want that to be the case for you. Instead, I want you to be confident in the known and unknown. I want you to stand boldly, ready to take on all that God has in store for you this year. The key for you to obtain your blessings is confidence. You have to be confident in your identity, in Christ, in His promise, and all that comes with being His child.

The key to establishing this confidence is understanding the areas in which you lack it. Is it that you don't have enough trust in God, yourself, or both? Is it that you have no idea what to put your faith in? Or is it that you don't see yourself beyond your current situation?

Whichever way you cut it, a lack of confidence in one area will impact your confidence across every area of your life. So, if you lack confidence, now is the time to arise and begin rooting yourself in the truths of God and who He says you are. That's what this is all about.

Establish yourself in the Kingdom, and confidence will be established in your life.

You can start here:

PSALM 23: 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.[a] 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness[b] for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,[c] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely[d] goodness and mercy[e] shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell[f] in the house of the Lord forever.[g] ESV

Put this into practice:

Identify scriptures that anchor your faith and your beliefs about how you're identified by God.

Pray these verses into your life. Let them carry you day in and day out. Seek His presence and in it, you will find yourself.
