DO IT AGAIN

I can't tell you how many times I found myself having to wait for a breakthrough or a blessing to be released. Even now, I'm expectant and believing for God to release some things that I've been praying for. These seasons continuously teach me that we have to be willing to have faith again, again and again.

Perhaps you, to are still waiting.

Still, waiting for that breakthrough? Pray again. Still, waiting for an answer? Pray again. Still, waiting for that job? Pray again. Whatever you're still waiting for, don't stop praying now; pray again. And whatever breakthrough you're believing for, believe again.

Sometimes you just have to do it again. Pray again, fast again, wait again, believe again. Too many times, we give up and get frustrated with waiting. We lose our hope and faith, doubt the promise, second guess our position, and give up. Our tendency to give up will do us more harm than good, and this type of behavior has to be removed from our lives, and we have to take on a spirit of DO IT AGAIN.

How many times did Joseph have to pray again? How many times did Abraham and Sarah have to wait again? Numerous times. Discouraged or not, we must keep our eyes on the promises of God and use them to grace us to do it again.

We’re called to be persistent, to be consistent, and to trust. Because of that, we have to trust that every time we wait and remain patient, God sees it and rewards us for it.

Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. Proverbs 8:34

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! Isaiah 30:18

So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. Galatians 3:9

I don't know what you're going through, how long you've been waiting on a thing, how many times you've prayed or fasted; all I know is that God hasn't given up on you, and you shouldn't give up on him now.

He has many names, and one of those names is God of the Eleventh hour; He can show up right when it seems like it’s just too late. The key to persevering through the wait is to trust that:

God's timing is perfect beyond our understanding.

Choose to lean on His understanding, His timeline, and His perfect will for us is made perfect in our weakness. As cliche as it may sound, it's true. He's a perfect and good God with good plans for you. So don't give up now. Just Do It Again. Believe in Him again, Trust in His word again, Pray Again, Fast again, Wait again. And most importantly, praise Him again!!! Praise before, after, and during your breakthrough!!!!
